Hi! My name is Chau and I’m a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based out of the Bay Area in California. I help women who are struggling with their mental health whose goal is to thrive and live their best, authentic life.
I was born and raised in San Jose, CA and received my post-master’s nurse practitioner certification in psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. I completed my residency training at Kaiser Redwood City and the VA in Oakland. I’ve been lucky enough to meet women from all backgrounds and all walks of life. From my time at the Asian Women’s Shelter to traveling to Ghana on a medical mission to working in multiple outpatient clinics and private practice, all these interactions allowed me connect with many women and mother’s who were struggling with feeling overwhelmed, depressed, intense mood swings, difficulty with focus, anxiety, and traumatic experiences.
During your first visit with me, you can expect to feel a sense of relief that you are in good hands. We will have a conversation and together develop a comprehensive treatment plan that will take into account your history, life experiences, lifestyle, and views on medication and holistic treatments. I collaborate with a psychiatrist to make sure you receive the best, appropriate care to reach your goals.

Drawing on his experience working at tech startups, he enjoys finding practical solutions and supporting our growing team. He’s committed to making your experience with the practice feel welcoming and easy to navigate, from your first inquiry onward.
Outside of work, Garrick enjoys watching sports, exploring new restaurants, and traveling with his family. As a dad of two, he’s learned that even the best travel itinerary is subject to approval by two very small, very opinionated people.

Hi, I’m Nica! Boy mama of two and a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I was born and raised in San Jose, California, and completed my education right here in the Bay Area. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration from Dominican University of California. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies from the University of San Francisco.
I take a holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to care; aiming to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. Mental health looks different for everyone, and I’m here to help define what well-being means to you!
When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling to tropical destinations with my family, exploring new matcha spots around the Bay Area, walking my Cavapoo, or getting in a Lagree workout. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
